ABIDING IN THE SPIRIT-WORD AND LIVING FREE, PART 2.

And Jesus said to the Jews who believed in His teaching, John 8:31-32 “if you hold on to my teachings, you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”. These are for the disciples. John 15:5, 8 “I am the Vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples” (NIV). The book of Psalm 103:1-5 “Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His Holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (NIV). All the spirit being; your spirit, soul and body, that is, the good things in you. You are the temple of the living God. God said, I will live among them and walk with them, I will be their God and they shall be my people. We are in Union with God. The best is in you, God is in you. The glory is within you, the treasures of heaven are with you, the all surpassing glory that is from God is right inside of you. You are God indwelleth. Because you are in union with God, your sins are forgiven. You don’t have to remember any of the sins anymore. Learn to forgive yourself of any past sins because God has forgiven you already. Your struggle with sin is when you are not able to forgive others and also forgive yourself of mistakes and errors you committed in the past. Ephesians 4:31&32 “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (NIV). You cannot forgive others and remain hurting and offensive. It is until you forgive that you will understand the true meaning of forgiveness. You will not be struggling to overcome the spirit of unforgiveness. God forgave all our sins and healed all our diseases. Forgiveness and healing go together, once there’s forgiveness there is healing. God forgave our sins through Christ and He healed all our diseases. Exodus 15:26 “He said, If you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His eyes, if you pay attention to His commands and keep all His decrees I will not bring on you any of the diseases I bought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you” (NIV). For He was pierced for our transgression, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed. Always declare unto yourself that you’re healed of whatever you’re going through, because the blood of Jesus was shed on the cross of Calvary and indeed by His wounds all is healed. No sickness and disease can stand the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus destroys any invading sickness, no matter what is it is. The blood is shed for our forgiveness and our healing, where there is forgiveness, healing will happen. Without the remission of the blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. By His wounds we are healed. He redeemed our lives from the pit, that is from corruption, the corruption that comes through sin, death, separation from God and He crowned us with love and compassion, He moved us from spiritual death to life. We are imparted with the life of God, we have become partakers of His nature, His life. We share in God’s life, we have the life of Christ, that is why we belong to Him. When God sees us, He sees himself and when He appears we shall be like Him because we have His nature in us. We are not in death; whatever is of the old life through the sinful nature. But in Christ we shed it off. From death we have been born into life and eternity. We are familiar with the good things, the things of life. Be familiar with the good things of life and not evil things. When you have the life of Christ, the good things are revived, you don’t need to struggle for them, and they are impacted in you. The Word in you will bear fruits apart from Him we cannot do anything. It is only with Christ we can do everything, we can love, we can be merciful, compassionate and endure. These are the good qualities that come in the Word, they belong to you. They are products of who you are, we can receive and have those things the Word says that we have. And we don’t have to struggle for them, they come through the Word, the living Word that is sharper than any two edged sword. The Word is alive. The Word is God. The Word-Spirit. God crown us with His love and compassion. Great is God’s faithfulness upon our lives. God satisfies our hearts and desires with good things so that our youth will be renewed like the eagles. “Those that wait upon the Lord shall renewed their strength, they will soar on like the eagle, they will run and not be weary, and they will walk and not be tired”. You are renewed every day. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old has gone, the new has come. All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry reconciliation that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ not counting men’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation” (NIV). We are new beings created in righteousness and holiness, you are made of precious things. There is the good in you that is why God says, you are wonderfully and fearfully made, you are made with glory and power, and you are made of the eternal things not corruptible seeds, you are made with the ingrafted Word, the Holy and Living Word of God. You are made of God, you are not different from Him. God breathe the breath of life in us. God gave us life and we have received the life of God. We belong to God that is why it is in Him we live, we move and have our being. We have eternity in us, God lives in us. From corruption, He built this good things, this glory. How wonderful you are because God is involved and He is participating. God has given us this message. It must go round the world, the message of God’s forgiveness, the message of healing, the message of being in union with God, of oneness with God. It is sweet to witness it. It doesn’t come with corruption, and it is undiluted. It is the truth, in that you are saved, you are a child of God, you are one with God, you have success in you and you can do all things. This is the truth, Jesus died for us to save us from our sins, and He was buried on the third day, He rose and never to die again, Jesus is alive forever. Roman 8:31-39 “What then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own son, but gave Him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died, more that, who was raised to life and is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of God? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (NIV). Is it sickness? Is it shame? Whatsoever it is, nothing can ever separate us from the love of the Father. Who is it that is condemning you? Is there any charges against you? What is that wants to separate you from the love of God? Can trouble separate you? For this cause our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. Can trouble separate you from God? Can hardship do it? Can persecution try it? Just mention, whatever it is. Nothing can ever separate you from God. God said “He will never leave nor forsake you”. The Lord calls you by your name, you belong to God, and you are for God. For greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. God is the answer to everything in life. That problem, it is through Him that you are a conqueror, an overcomer. You are more than a conqueror nothing can overcome you because God lives in you and nothing can conquer God. You have to be convince about the truth that you can never be conquered. 1 John 2:12-14 “I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of His name. I write to you, fathers because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children because you have known the Father. I write to you, fathers because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men because you are strong, and the Word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one” (NIV). Sin does not have power to challenge you, you cannot be put to death by sin, and you are not in death. Those things that come through death; sickness, diseases, failure, disappointment, fear, unforgiveness, they are all products of death while the products of life are righteousness, holiness, peace love, kindness, gentleness, self-control, good health and sound mind. When there is life in you, they manifest. They are manifestations of God’s life in you. When things that belong to the old life come righteousness will rebuke them, life through the Word will rebuke them. The Word is the truth of God to mankind. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Abiding in the Spirit-Word and living free. The Word lives in you and you have overcome the evil one, you are free from all harassments, the intimidations, ignorance, oppression, from bondage, you move into your liberty. They that are in Christ got the Spirit and there is freedom for them. We know that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. The Word lives in you and you have overcome the power of the evil one, though he terrorizes the world, the world is under his influence, power and authority but we the children of God have overcome the evil one. 2 Corinthians 10:5 “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (NIV). Colossians 1:12-14 “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (NIV). After he has written us all these good letters, the letter of the forgiveness of sins, the letter of the power in the name of Jesus, the letter about our knowledge and understanding of the Word, wisdom and power of the Word. Now we have received the glorious letter, the letter that tells us about our union with the Word, telling us that we’re strong, our victory over the evil one. And He is saying to us, that we are qualified to share in the things of heaven, the things of glory, the things of eternal values. With the eternal things, you can pray, you can cast out devil and if you take any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you because you have the Word in you. After He has imparted, He breathe into us daily the breath of life through the living Word. For every word in the scripture, God breadeth, it is profitable for our righteousness, and it is in it we are being trained, corrected, rebuked and taught of the good things that are here with us. The things that came through the Word, telling you that you belong to the kingdom of light. When you have this light, darkness cannot overcome you. God has moved us from the bondage of the adversary, and brought us into total freedom. We have our redemption through His blood. We overcame the devil by the blood of the lamb and by the words of our testimonies. Galatians 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery” (NIV). Do not let the instrument of slavery come near you; doubt, unbelief are the instrument of slavery, keep off from them. Confession: “I have the spirit of faith, I believe the Word, therefore as I speak it I belong to the household of faith, God has given me a measure of faith, I never speak doubt, I am a believer, the Word is near me even in my heart and in my mouth through the Word of faith I have victory for faith is the victory”. When you have faith nothing can condemn you, therefore you are free from condemnation. Romans 8:1, 2&34”Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life sets me free from the law of sin and death. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died- more than that, who was raised to life, is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us” (NIV). Christ says He is not condemning you, but if your conscience condemn you Christ will be your advocate, the Holy Spirit will defend you before your conscience. God is greater than your conscience, He is not bringing charge against you. You are free from all condemning charges. Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God” (NIV). Do not worry about anything, live your life free. All these condemning charges, anxiety, yokes of bondage, you are free from them. 2 Peters 1:4 “Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” (NIV). You are free from being in union with the devil, you are severed from the adversary, you are no more in spiritual death but you are alive and has been given eternal life. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a Spirit of timidity, but a Spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline” (NIV). The Lord has given us the Spirit of peace so we are free from the bondage fear. The spirit of fear always makes one feel weak, tired and limited, so you just need to come out of fear and live joyfully in the life He has given you. You have the Spirit of power, of love, of sound mind, therefore you are free to live your life in agreement with the Word. 1 Timothy 4:1 “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons” (NIV). To live free in the Word, you need to keep away from deceiving spirits and false religions. These are things that are being taught by demons and their influences. Philippians 4:9 “The Lord shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus our Lord”. Psalms 23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (NIV). You are free from want and poverty, always look forward to live in plenty no matter the situation around you. Romans 15:7 “Accept one another, the, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God”. You are always free from rejection and you are always accepted because Christ accepted you first and you are never going to be rejected. You belong to God. 1 Corinthians 1:30 “But God has brought us into union with Christ Jesus, and God has made Christ to be our wisdom. By Him we are put right with God; we become God’s holy people and are set free” (GNV). We have the wisdom of Christ, we are not living in ignorance, and we are not in weakness, we are not dullards. We are in union with God, we have been put right with God, and we have God’s righteousness. We are justified and we are free. Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (NIV). You are free from unforgiveness. We must live true to the Word because the Word is true. Unforgiveness is an area that the adversary puts people in bondage, once you live in unforgiveness, how will you enjoy God’s forgiveness? Let us all learn to forgive so we can live free, free from the yoke and burden that come in the old life, the sinful nature and live free as God’s chosen one. With this, we bring to end to our teachings on the theme “DRIVE OUT THE ENEMIES” which we started some weeks ago and ending it with the topic: “ABIDE IN THE SPIRIT-WORD AND LIVE FREE”. Free in the way God intends us to live because He is at work in us both to will and perfect His good pleasure.I leave you with the Word!
